Google's Jamboard started as a physical board similar to a Smartboard. Recently Google added Jamboard to the educational domain. This now enables users in schools to access the tools already available to businesses that use Jamboard.
Jamboards use two distinct parts to make it work; a hardware component, which FCPS currently does not have, and a set of software tools. The software can be used independently to incorporate lessons into the Google environment.
On a Chromebook that has the Google Play Store enabled, you'll need to download and install the Jamboard app. Again, this is different than the Chrome Web Store. There is no app in the Chrome Web Store for Jamboards.
